Baseball Leagues | Boys Grades 2-6 Whether you ’ re new to the game , play for fun , or love to compete , these leagues provide a positive team atmosphere for all skill levels . Park district instructors and volunteer coaches motivate players using the principles of the Positive Coaching Alliance . All players should register based on the grade they are in for the 2020-2021 school year . Registration fee includes jersey , pants , hat , and socks , but only a jersey and hat for summer league . Sluggers Baseball | Boys and Girls Ages 4-6 Join us on the field at West Ridge Park for Sluggers Baseball . This program runs twice a week with practices on Mondays and games on Saturdays . Players learn the basics and fundamentals of the game in this fun and instructional league . Players hit off the tee and coach pitching . Games and practice are 45-60 minutes in the listed windows .
