2020 SBAND Destination CLE - Maui, Hawaii The 2020 SBAND Destination Continuing Legal Education (CLE) was held Feb. 24 -25 at the beautiful Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Maui, Hawaii. SBAND President Aubrey Fiebelkorn-Zuger was instrumental in organizing this destination CLE event. There were 22 attorneys from North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as their families, in attendance. The destination CLE combined quality education with travel to Maui, Hawaii. Eight hours of CLE were provided and included the following topics: Local Counsel Opinion Letters – From the Perspective of Local Counsel; Fundamental Ethical Issues Facing North Dakota Attorneys; Probate, Trust & Estate Issues; Gotcha Issues in International Law; Condominium/Homeowners’ Association Law & Management; Renewable Energy Development – The Regulatory Landscape; The Gavel would like to consider your photograph and artwork for its cover.
