THE RIVAlRY IS BACK!
It was Friday, February 5th, the Valley View Blazers were up against the Westside Warriors for a regular season game. They had played once this year already and had been defeated narrowly by the Warriors and their star senior guard Avery Felts. The Blazers wanted revenge from their loss. Valley View was seen as an underdog going into the 2nd game because Westside just came off a spectacular season that took them to the state finals. They also had a lot of the same faces back. While on the other hand, Valley View had only 3 seniors and only one of them started. Valley View battled all the way throughout the game and came out on top at the end. There was a record breaking attendance of about 3,500 people that attended the game. Not only was it a record breaking attendance there was an energy from the student section that had never been felt before.
