If there is one thing that pizza customers hate( actually any customer), it is not knowing what is going on. We just talked about preventing problems. They can happen even when we give our best effort. One thing highly tipped delivery drivers find out though is that customers are very forgiving if you just ask them for help or keep them in the loop. Calling your customers in advance to let them know you were out of a particular product they ordered, you are going to be late, or that you are on the way makes almost always leads to even larger tips. Keep your customers in the loop and you will keep yourself in cash!
A Warm Personality Is Just As Important As Warm Pizza
Many pizza customers are repeat customers so develop a good rapport with each customer. In fact you will find that a handful of customers order from the pizza shop almost every day!
