President’s Message
We are proud to be a Catholic school. We are blessed by parents, teachers and coaches who share a belief in the mission of Catholic education – the formation of the soul, mind and body of our students. As a Catholic school, we enjoy the freedom to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in every classroom, activity and athletic field. Since 1964, nearly 10,000 graduates have learned faith, respect, integrity, character and excellence during their four years at Brother Rice. Our alumni make a difference every day as role models and exemplars, husbands and fathers, employers and employees, volunteers and donors. Many have
risen to positions of leadership in their professional careers. We are also extremely proud of the academic tradition of our institution. Our students are tested by a rigorous college prep curriculum, taught by outstanding educators and challenged to develop a serious work ethic every day. Our four-year average ACT score of 25.7 is outstanding, 100% of our students are admitted to college, and 98% graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in five years or less. Students who attend Brother Rice are prepared for success in college and professional careers. In order to continue to offer an outstanding Catholic education, we need to ensure that the parents, past parents, friends and alumni of Brother Rice are willing to make a difference
through their support. Tuition does not cover the cost of renovating facilities. In addition, as the cost of Catholic education has increased, the need of families for tuition assistance has increased, as well. As many universities have demonstrated, having a strong endowment is an essential means of ensuring financial stability for the future.
