With the retirement of the Mi-24 Hind in
September 2011 left the Mi-17 as the main
rotary-wing asset of the Slovak Air Force. It
is expected to soldier on until the arrival of
the UH-60M between 2017 and 2019.
In the meantime, the last An-26 has been
retired pending the imminent delivery of
the C-27J Spartan
