INTERVIEW WITH
our PE teacher, Mrs Agata Bednarek
Mrs Agata Bedarek, our PE teacher, took part in various
sports competitions, such as the European Championships
in Athletics in 2010, 2012 and 2014 and the 2012 Summer
Olympics in London. She won gold 5 times in 400m race at
the Polish Championships in Athletics.
How did you spend your free time when you were a child?
I was outside all day and all year long, regardless the weather. I did my
homework and ate dinner as quickly as possible, just to run out and spend
the time with friends. We were roller-skating, climbing the trees and
building snow mazes. That was a fantastic time in my life.
What was your most and least favourite school subject?
I loved PE, of course But I also liked Polish - as reading has always
been my second passion. Oh, and I really enjoyed Biology. What I hated
was Maths. And even though I had a great teacher, I just couldn’t stand
Physics.
On the 14 th of February people around the world exchange hugs and gifts
with their friends and beloved. Do you celebrate this day?
What are your plans for this day?
Supper and cinema with friends.
In your opinion, what makes a good friend?
A true friend is someone who is patient and trustworthy, can hear you
when you are quiet and gives you a hug when you feel sad. I think a real
friendship can overcome time and distance.
Paweł Argasiński, 7e
