Homemade Heart-shaped Donuts
Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup white sugar
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
For the icing:

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
sprinkles
Method:
♥ Heat oven to 175 C*. Grease a heart-shaped tin with oil.
♥ In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and sugar together.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
♥ In another bowl, mix the oil, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Pour the wet
ingredients into the center of the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
♥ Pour mixture into the heart forms about 3/4 of the way full. Bake for

about 8-10 minutes, or until cakes are golden brown and a toothpick
inserted in the middle comes out clean. Place donuts on a wire cooling rack.
♥ Prepare icing by mixing the sugar, milk and vanilla together.
♥ Once donuts have cooled, add icing and fun sprinkles.
