Exam Week Looms for Secondary Students
As we enter term 3 it is not only our Year 11 and
13 students who are sitting exams. Each year
students in Years 7 – 10 and 12 have a formal
exam week during term 3. This year the exam
week is being held from June 2 – 6. Students will
not follow their normal timetable, rather they will
sit a series of exams in most of their subjects. The
exam results that the students achieve will go
directly towards their term 3 report grades.
Students will receive their exam timetable very
soon however it’s never too early to start
studying!
New IB Room
Triumph for St Andrews Drama Students!
St Andrews Year 10 & 11 students look
delighted when they received the results of
their LAMDA Level 2 Acting Solo Monologue
exams taken 6 weeks previously. They have
every right to be with 8 Passes with
Distinction and 3 Passes with Merit. The
exam involved each student performing
two monologues to an examiner and then
answering questions on the staging of the
pieces. A nerve-wracking experience for
any aspiring actor but one that will prove
invaluable when auditioning for that major
West End / Broadway role!
