Secondary Music Concert

Battle of the Bands
Winners

The secondary music concert took place on the
evening of Thursday June 12. In a very enjoyable
evening of musical entertainment, a total of more
than 30 year 7 - 9 students performed. Rock
bands, piano, violin and the whole school
orchestra were just a few of the acts that
entertained the large crowd. Well done everyone!

On the same evening as the Secondary Music
Concert, GIS held their Battle of the Bands. Two of
our school bands, White Jack and Alpha Beat
performed for us before storming GIS to take first
and second place in their own Battle of the
Bands. Congratulations White Jack (1st place) and
Alpha Beat (2nd place) – absolutely awesome!!
