Learning
Journeys
On
Tuesday
4th
February,
students
in
Year
1
showed
off
their
learning
to
parents
and
friends.
Cross
curricular
links
were
shared
and
included
Science
experiments,
role
plays
with
masks
and
puppets
-‐
and
their
model
shelters
too.
They
have
been
inquiring
into
different
materials
being
used
in
the
construction
of
shelters.
Parents
were
actively
involved
in
their
child's
learning
which
helped
make
this
Unit
of
Inquiry
a
huge
success.
Some
quotes
from
students:
"I
like
it
when
my
Mum
came.

all
done!"
Once

have
the
opportunity
to
learn
horse
riding
with
Mrs

Centre
at
Chom
View
Horse
Riding
School.
The
experience
they
gain
is
helping
the
children
in
developing
their
personal,
social
and
emotional
skills.
They
have
lots
of
fun
too!
