Future Proof Polish

erhaps more than any other sector of
the beauty industry, the nail market is
at the mercy of high fashion and celebrity
trends. For many years, that involved a
set of perfectly square, French tipped
acrylic nails. Today, however, extensions
have been usurped as the nail treatment of
choice by the gel polish phenomenon.
Gel nails are a form of artificial nail
application. It is applied directly to the
nail bed and then cured under a special
LED light to harden the gel. This method
is great for strengthening the natural nail,
whilst allowing your nails to grow. Because
your nails are growing, it is normal to have
the gel removed approximately 2-3 weeks
after application, as there will be a growth
section at the base of the nail.
Benefits:
Gel application is odourless, so therefore a
much more pleasant treatment then acrylic
to have applied.

They look very, very natural.
They are really quick to apply and remove.
There is a vast range of colour choice.
There is no drying time, making them a
perfect choice for toe application (straight
back on with the winter boots!!!!!!).
They are self-levelling, therefore fabulous
for ridges (in fingers or toes).
The normal time for gel polish to last on the
toes is 4-6 weeks (as toenails grow slower
than finger nails).
Because it is smudge free, due to the
fact that it dries instantly, the gel polish
