Cecilia Fiad knew at a young age she was destined to
brighten up the world with her passion for life. The
talented mother of one young son came from Argentina
many years back with hopes to start up her own business.
As a professional in arts and drama, she learned about
space, colors, textures, dimensions, design and more. She
was the daughter of an architect as well. Cecilia says, "I
learned from my mother and my degree, how to translate
the fantasy into reality ".
Twelve years ago, she brought her passion for creativity
to the business world and opened up her very own floral
company, Elite's Flowers in Hollywood. Cecilia started
working mainly with weddings when her business opened.
Today, she covers events that encompass weddings, baby
showers, birthdays and more.
Cecilia stresses when she first meets with clients to not
focus on the financial aspect. She says this is a fantastic
moment in their life and she wants that all process have
the same soul. "I always suggest to my clients, please, do
not talk about money in our first appointment, just dream
about your wedding, and let me dream too. We will see
later how to fix the numbers."
As a former actor Cecilia feels this key concept helps her
always manage to go beyond everyone's expectations.
"There are not small roles, there are small actors...
translated as there are not small budgets, but rather there
are just small ideas."
Cecilia is always looking for new challenges that help her
grow and develop her imagination on each design. She has
so many wonderful tips for her clients. Here are a few:
* If you want to save money, hire a professional
* Be sure that the professional will be with you throughout
the entire process as it can sometimes be months working
on one event.
* There is a floral designer for each client. You just have to
look for the right one! It's a long process to walk with, so
pick the comfortable shoes.
Cecilia also has wedding packages for all budgets, but she
says the tips above are a must with her clients.
