We spearheaded Ohio ’ s gubernatorial discussion and the political movement to secure 18,000 acres of AEP Re-Creation Lands two years ago , which has resulted in the purchase of this property . We ’ ve also advocated for public-land opening in South Carolina , opposed a ban on public-land trapping in New Mexico and continue to fight for Alaska ’ s right to manage seasons and methods on National Parks and Preserves , as well as for the expansion of hunting and fishing on National Wildlife Refuges nationwide .
