KAEDEN CORRIE , RB , STURGEON HEIGHTS Last fall , Kaeden Corrie finished the regular season tied for the rushing lead in the WHSFL . What the stats line doesn ’ t show is that he only played a total of five games during the regular season . On a team that only passed for 600 yards , Kaeden average just under 12-yards-per-carry . Week after week , teams stacked the box to defend the run and yet Corrie would still rumble for 200 yards . Serving as the backup running back on last year ’ s U-18 team , Corrie has put in some serious work in the offseason and is bigger , stronger , and faster than he was last season and is now the starting tailback for U-18 . Last season , he had four touchdown runs of 60 yards or more and routinely picks up 10 yards where other backs might be stopped at the line of scrimmage .
“ His rare blend of strength and speed make him a threat every time he touches the ball ,” said Sturgeon Heights head coach Eric Vincent . “ This season Kaeden returns to an offense that has only graduated one starter . Look for Corrie to be the focal point of a run-first offense that has improved its pass game to help share the load .”

He is a leader on our team through his actions . His effort on the field , in training and in the classroom is exemplary . He is a young man with many capabilities and much to offer the world .”

BRODY WILLIAMS , MLB , ST . PAUL ’ S ERYK BUJALSKI , MLB , VINCENT MASSEY WINNIPEG A tie that was impossible to break , both of these players have been called , “ Studs ,” by most coaches in Manitoba . At 5-foot-11 , 210-pound , he runs a 4.68 40-yard dash . He ’ s a three-year starter who is expected to be one of the best defensive players in the WHSFL . Bujalski , a 5-foot-11 , 200-pound monster hitter , is in Grade 11 and he , too , is a three-year starter with the Trojans . “ Both these guys are impact players ,” said WHSFL Commissioner Henkewich . “ They both should be mentioned .”
