Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce details
on the female Center for Performance program
The 2016-17 season includes both a 17U and a 15U competitive program. The 17U program
is for females born 2000 and 2001, while the 15U program is for females born 2002 and later.
Tryouts for both programs will be Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 at St. John’s
Ravenscourt School. The 15U program tryouts will run sessions from 10:00am to 12:00pm
on both August 13 and 14 (please attend both sessions) and the 17U program will run
sessions from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on both August 13 and 14 (please attend both sessions).
The programs will train 2-4 times per week focusing on fundamental skills, team
concepts, and athletic development while improving through competition.They will
compete in local leagues and tournaments as well as competitions in the United States.
Both age groups will be supported by Canada Basketball and include special development weekends working with
