Calgary’s Shagannappi Golf Club at a junior tournament from the ladies red tees. She also won the U-12 Manitoba provincial golf championships -- for the past 3 years. She won the provincial bantam championship last summer. She was ranked No. 3 in Canada in the CJGA as of May of 2015, with her ranking falling off due to the fact she just doesn’t have enough time to participate in more golf tournaments. She has won several US kids golf tournaments in Tampa, including the Tampa Bay Junior golf championship for the past two years in a row. And just the other night, she and her partner won a match play event at Elmhurst where she fired an 82. Already she has more than 120 trophies for tennis and golf. “I just love tennis,” she said bluntly. “I don’t know what I’d do without it. But I play golf and I enjoy that, too. If I was ever forced to make a choice, it would be a pretty tough choice. I think that I’d like to grow up to be a tennis pro and a golf pro.” Reece trains in Florida, Manitoba and often travels to B.C. to train at the National Training Centre. She tours to BC and Alberta frequently to play tournaments and, in March, won the Alberta girls U-14 event in a draw with 64 other competitors. “I just love competing,” she said. “I also like travelling to tournaments and making new friends at the various ev
