The Edge Elite Girls Basketball team has won several Provincial Club Championships. Edge players are also among the top high school players in the province and many have committed to play at the next level. Edge Elite basketball is a fantastic basketball program which supports Sport Canada’s long term athletic development (LTAD) model,” said Grant Kennedy, the father of Edge athlete Moira Kennedy. “Coach Nowrang brings an inspiring and infectious passion for basketball which develops the players and team to compete at the next level. Other programs require an all-in 100 per cent commitment to basketball. Coach Nowrang recognizes the importance of the mental and emotional needs of the players. Practice, skill development, and participation in other sports are valued over competing in actual games.
