This year, the team is led by captain Amanda Wong. Who was the captain last season before an injury ended her campaign. Last season, the Bisons led the Canada West East Division table for the first six weeks, and then, after a series of injuries, finished the regular season with a respectable 7-5-2 record. This represented the second-best team record in the program’s history (just behind the 10-4-0 team record achieved in 2007, when current FC Kansas City and Team Canada Olympic star, Desiree Scott, was still on the team).
