bulletin November 2016 Edition 51% SPORT & GRADUATE PROSPECTS GRADUATES There is a notion that sport participation is positively related to students’ academic achievement and liklihood of graduate employment. In a survey commissioned by British University and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and undertaken by the Sport Industry Research Centre there is clear evidence which supports this notion. Said sporting involvement has helped them to develop team work skills & leadership qualities in the workplace. 9 IN 10 EMPLOYERS identifying a clear link between sport participation and valuable skills and strengths in potential employees.
