If anyone tried to catch a Western New York high school softball
game this spring you know it was pretty impossible.

The weather played
havoc with the spring
season as it was the
fifth wettest spring
in Buffalo. But those
of you who were able
to get out to the dia-
monds saw some pret-
ty impressive perfor-
mances.
While a lot of atten-
tion was spread on
the public schools,
the Monsignor Mar-
tin Athletic Associa-
tion had some of their
own great players.
Erin Hufford comes to
mind as she seemed to
be carrying the torch

The dream of going
to states turned into a
distant memory in one
game at Sunshine Park
in West Seneca.

the players can be

Whatever the case
may be, coaches have
been missing a dia-
mond in the rough in
Western New York.
Rogowski is the do
everything for a very
talented Mt. Mercy
team. She teamed up
so form a lethal one-
two punch on the
mound. And when she
