Plymouth State Baseball: The Plymouth State Panthers look to have a better season than last year. They had an average season at 19-19 but there are high hopes for them this year. Over 50 players tried out in the 2017 fall season. This is a positive sign for the Panthers as more try out, the better chance there is to find more stud players.

I had a talk with Cam Cossette, a senior pitcher from Milford Mass. I asked him his expectations for the 2018 season. Cam responded, "we recruited a lot of really good freshman who could be very valuable as our season goes on. Our biggest problem over the past few years was our pitching, we've had a lot of good pitchers but just not a lot of depth" Cam goes on to say " Our freshman pitchers could fill those spots that we've been unable to fill over the past years. Our pitching coach has been working his tail off to form these freshman from high school pitchers to collegiate pitchers." Looks like there's a lot of optimism towards the Plymouth State Panthers. The only way to know for sure is to wait and see what the 2018 season brings to us. Best of luck to the guys on the team.
