The Sox: The Boston Red Sox season came to a very abrupt and disappointing end. Losing to the Astros in the playoffs who handled them pretty easily. The first move the Sox made was firing their head coach John Farell. A lot of critics thought it was time for him to go and hopefully with the new coach that they hire can get them to the World Series. There are speculations about a possible trade with the Miami Marlins in which the Sox would acquire Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton is arguably the best power hitter in the league and is exactly what Boston needs. The Sox have cleaned up their pitching rotation in which if the pitching can perform to their potential, it could be a lethal pitching squad. The Red Sox look to win their first World Series since 2013. There have been a lot of ups and downs since then but their are high hopes for the 2018 especially if Stanton is involved.
