All real basketball fans love to watch a player that plays with a lot of intensity and brings the energy every time they step on the basketball court. Ivory Latta is that player. She can be described as a feisty guard for the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, a fierce competitor, leader, and coach. Latta had a tremendous season last year in the WNBA, she was selected for the first time to represent the East in the WNBA All Star game, and now that the WNBA season is on break, we can catch her on the bench of her alma mater educating the guards at UNC Tar Heels. Every fan of the UNC Tar Heels Women Basketball team was excited when the news was announced that she would be an assistant coach at the school where she holds the school’s career 3-point and free-throw percentage records.
