10 rushing TDs in 2013. He rushed for 400 yards and threw for 3851. He may not quite have
pushed Clemson into dominant national attention, but the Boyd era was marked as one where
the Tigers were highly relevant and a real leader in the ACC.
The question is what will Clemson’s offense look like next year? Well, the receiving corps will
rely on catching by committee a lot more. Adam Humphries, Charone Peake and T.J. Green are
all solid players with some experience. A couple of more intriguing prospects are Mike Williams
and Germone Hopper.
Williams has exciting size and speed and showed flashes of his terrific potential during his
freshmen season. It’s conceivable that he could be viewed as the big playmaker on this offense.
