Tiger Woods and the advertising world are back together again as Nike has released a new commercial featuring Woods and Rory McIlroy in a comical rivalry hitting golf balls into dish glasses and other things at a country club.

First off, I will say that the ad is a brilliantly filmed ad and very cleaver of the advertisement-idea-makers. It's not often that an ad is really fun to watch, but this one definitely captures your attention from the start. But, there is one MAJOR fact about this ad that gets me thinking. Woods and McIlroy filmed the ad separately.

I could be blowing this up, maybe they weren't able to shoot the ad together or were told not too. But if not, somebody had to refuse to do it together. I'm not frowning upon that either. I love this developing rivalry.

I have never been as into golf as I am now, and the lone reason is this Woods vs. McIlroy era. This duo is excellent for the sport of golf and Nike is genius to recognize that and take advantage.

Woods was the type of player that when he was at his best, was better than everyone else on the coarse. He knew that, and his opponents knew that. McIlroy is in the same position now. I think if Rory plays the best that he can play, nobody else at their best can beat him.

I hope this rivalry is more than fun and games for the two of them. I think Woods takes it more seriously than Rory does because he is older and is chasing Nicklaus for the most

major victories ever.

As for where this ad ranks all time against other sports ads, I would say pretty high. Sports Center has had some pretty great ones so if you don't count the ESPN ads, this one has to be my favorite.
