A-League
The A-League is the top level professional football league in Australia. It consists of 9 Australian teams and 1 New Zealand team. It began in 2005, the first champions being Sydney FC and the current champions being the Central Coast Mariners. Each year, this league gets more popular as the recruiting of retiring legends or young talents being established in this league.
Liga BBVA
The Liga BBVA is the first division of the Spainish Football Leagues. It is also known as 'La Liga'. It is one of the most popular leagues in the world with an average attendance of 30,275. The Liga BBVA consists of 20 teams playing 38 games with the three lowest teams on the table relegated to the Segunda Division and the three highest teams in the Segunda Division get promoted to the Liga BBVA.
The top three teams from the Liga BBVA get a place in the UEFA Champion League, with the fourth placed team having to play in a play-off to get a place in the UEFA Champions League.
