2013's Fantasy Football
Biggest Busts:
I don't like these three QB's this season. These guys scramble, which can be good, but it also means they are an injury waiting to happen. I'm not saying not to draft them all together, but I wouldn't want Newton, Kaepernick or Griffin as my #1 option at Quarterback. I think Kaepernick and Newton may be a little immature, and RGIII's relationship with Coach Shanahan isn't ideal.

I'm not very interested in Broncos or Packers receivers. Both QBs like to spread the ball around the field and each good receiver beside these guys, Thomas and Decker with Welker and James Jones and Jordy Nelson with Cobb, will take touches away from eachother. Still solid 3rd receivers or FLEX options, but let someone else in your fantasy league waste a higher round pick on these players.
This Season's
Fantasy Strategies
By: Ryan Welte
This year, my strategy is simple. Go RB. The drop off from solid RBs like Ray Rice to backs like Stevan Jackson is pretty huge this year. And the drop off from Stevan Jackson to backs like Vick Ballard is almost instant and a massive difference in fantasy points. If you can get 2 solid RBs, you should be fine. The problem is, there isn't a lot of them. 1st 2 rounds, I would go Running Back.
WR and QB are pretty deep, and TE isn't, so try and get a top TE too. There are only four elite TEs this year, so getting one of them is very important. Make sure you get one of them, even if you are grabbing them too early. After round 4, you should at least have your 2 solid RBs and an Elite TE.
Lastly, don't be afraid to wait on QBs. If you can't get a top 5 QB, wait a few rounds. A QB like Cutler, Schaub, Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, or even Dalton wouldn't be terrible, if you are able to use the picks that others spent on higher rated QBs for good position players.
