SPORTSMENSALLIANCE.ORG Our digital addresses and looks will change, but expect the same coverage and protection from the website to social media O n Aug. 14, the domain for the Sportsmen’s Alliance changed to sportsmensalliance.org. The change in URL reflects the organization’s name change, making it easier to remember than the old domain address – which only included half of the organization’s name. “Admittedly, shortening the name of the organization and changing the domain name are big decisions, but we believe having continuity across all television, print, digital and social media channels will better serve current and future branding efforts and initiatives in the long run,” said Lynn. Sportsmensalliance.org will remain functionally the same, but will take on the new look and feel of the organization. The new logo and colors will replace the old versions and our social media channels will all update to reflect the new name and logo. WE ARE THE ALLIANCE. “BECAUSE WE WANT TO PROTECT HUNTING.” #IAMTHEALLIANCE SOCIAL MEDIA FACEBOOK.COM/SPORTSMENSALLIANCE @SPORTSMENSALL TWITTER.COM/SPORTSMENSALL @SPORTSMENSALL INSTAGRAM.COM/SPORTSMENSALL T he launch of the new-look Sportsmen’s Alliance was tied to the airing of Jason Matzinger’s Project Elk on Sportsman Channel, which first aired on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. EST and will then enjoy a second airing Oct. 31 at the same time. The one-hour special highlights the challenges elk face during each of the four seasons, the intimate connection of hunter to prey and the role of sportsmen in wildlife management and conservation. The Aug. 15 airing served as the national introduction to the new Sportsmen’s Alliance. The organization’s first commercial will feature a powerful message delivered by an ensemble cast of the most popular and recognizable faces from the outdoors industry – some of which you can see in the series of “I am the Alliance” advertisements throughout this issue.
