The club moved to the former Bass Brewery site from its old ground at Waterloo on the other side of town back in 1997. The departure from its home of 87 years and the expansion that came with it has proved very beneficial for the club. On the field HRUFC has marked the coming of age with its most successful season since the advent of the league system in 1987. The First XV finished fourth in National League 2 North, their highest ever placing, their Academy team won their league title and were runners up in the Yorkshire Cup and the Falcons (2nd team) and A-Team (3rd) both had very solid seasons.
