Segway Polo Taking Part
“Segway Polo is one of the games
that we have to offer within our Segway
Events corporate packages. It is a 5 aside
game which is similar to horse polo or
5-a-side football though you play on
Segway’s. The aim of the game is to work
within your team using mallets to get
the ball into the opposing teams net. It
can be a brutal game. It is fast paced and
competitive but good fun and rewarding. “Our advice would be to practice on
a Segway first as doing the game on a
Segway at the same time is harder than
it looks. Our team thoroughly enjoy the
game and were excited to play in the
Segway Polo Championships this year.”
Challenges/Ambitions
“We aim to continue working with all
of our existing clients, build relationships
with new clients and continue working
with new venues across the country.
I think for Segway Polo, our biggest
challenge will be introducing new people
to the sport and building their confidence
up on the Segway’s so they feel ready to
compete in the games.
We are always up for the challenges
in training and once they get going,
everyone loves the thrill of a Segway!”
