egway Events was established in 2010 and is the market leader
in Segway experiences in the UK. Their Development Manager
Lauren Greaves took the time to tell us more about what they are
able to offer.
Involvement
She started by telling us about her
involvement, saying, “I have been
involved in the company for 9 months
as the Business Development Manager.
I was attracted to work for the market
leader of Segway experiences in the UK.
What we have to offer is very exciting,
dynamic and adaptable to every event
type so I was enthusiastic to take on
building relationships with a number of
nationwide and worldwide clients.”
The Role
“The most rewarding aspect of
my role is tailoring the private event

packages to our clients and exceeding
their expectations on its success. It’s
always nice to come in to a number of
positive feedback emails from organisers,
participants and even their own clients
after we have just ran an event.
It is challenging sometimes finding a
way to give the client exactly what they
want or picture ensuring that our health
and safety regulations are fully adhered
to. Health and safety is key to us, all of
our clients must feel safe and confident
to ride. All of our venues and new
venues we work with are risk assessed,
all of our riders are fully insured and
all participants receive 1 on 1 training;
with over 150,000 customers safety
processed.”

“We were established in 2010 and
are the leaders of Segway experiences in
the UK. We operate across the country
offering gift experiences, Segway
rally and private corporate events at
16 locations nationwide. Each of our
corporate events are specifically tailored
to each client and we offer a number of
bespoke packages.
We can run events for unlimited
numbers of people as well as small
groups for private parties, weddings etc.
We also regularly offer our Segway’s for
media events and have had our fair share
