Editor’s Welcome
With 2017 drawing to a close sports are at different stages in their seasons. This month’s Sport in
Profile Magazine looks at the Birmingham Blitz Dames who had a successful season and are now
preparing for 2018.
Strongman Paul Smith had a mixed 2017 but finished on a successful note and tells us of his plans to
push on next year. Additionally, Thames Bowls Club provides us with a fine example of a community
club going from strength to strength.
This issue also looks at MOVE IT in dance as they continue to bring dancers, schools, professionals
and iconic performers from across the UK together while Pentathlon GB updates us as they plan
ahead to the European Championships in 2019.
We are always keen to hear from anyone with a story to tell so whether you wish to promote a
business, a club, individuals, initiatives or products please do not hesitate to contact our editorial
team at [email protected] or call me directly on 0191 447 8383.
Yours in Sport
