Part of THE COACHING INN GROUP www . coachinginngroup . co . uk be in the top half of the ECB Premier League as there have been a number of games where we certainly should have got more out the game but it was not to be and therefore a mid-table finish is now realistically our target . Availability has also been an issue due to holidays , work commitments and injuries which has made it difficult at times to get three sides out on a Saturday to the level we would like and as a consequence our 2nd and 3rd teams have had a difficult season and we hope that they can retain their places in the South Lincs & Border Premier and Division One Leagues . We continue to run youth sides at U15 , U13 and U11 and these are key to the future development of the Club as it is hoped that we can nurture further players through the ranks to play for our 1st team as many of the current players have done . We also took part in the ECB All Stars Cricket programme as well this season which was good for introducing young children to the game and helps to integrate the Club into the community . We have good facilities at the Club and are continually working to improve these , we have done a lot of work on the wicket and outfield and will continue with this programme as ultimately this will attract players to the Club . As with many clubs one of the biggest challenges faced is the ever increasing
cost of playing cricket and this puts great emphasis on individuals to continue fund raising activities as well as obtaining sponsorship and advertising without which the Club could not continue to operate on this scale and at this level . Over the next five years I hope that the Club will continue to build on the sound foundations that have been set during my period as Chairman and I very much hope that this will result in us competing at the top end of the ECB Lincs Premier League .
