exceL Esports scouting agency as we were finding talented teams and selling them on to big organisations similar to the way a lot of smaller football clubs operate. “I think some players have a natural talent and some people grind really hard to be good at it. It’s important when you’re putting together a team to have different types of people in your side. Different people can complement each other and that is something we work hard to have a balance in in terms of skill sets and personalities. “We’re at the point now where we want to be holding on to our talent now. 2017 has gone very well and gaming as a whole in the UK is developing with an improved infrastructure so we’re very happy with how things are going. “The thing with the Esports industry is that although it has been around for a long period of time it is a relatively new concept. It is only in the last year or so that people have started understanding it so we’re now seeing more regular and well-known brands showing interest. That growth of the industry as a whole is making the growth of exceL Esports quite natural. “Over the coming years, firstly we’d like to win a lot of competitions; we’ve got to the point where we are one of the most recognised brands in the UK for Esports but on a global scale we’re very small so we’d like to increase our reputation. “As we grow, our costs have increased and I’d just like to finish by saying thank you to our current group of sponsors and would encourage anyone that may be interested in supporting us to get in contact and we’ll be able to talk you through how it will benefit your company.” www.sportip.biz 35
