Trojans Squash Club
The club is also committed to
providing young people in their local
area with an opportunity to enjoy squash
and with this in mind they have an active
junior section. This part of the club looks
to provide youngsters with the chance
to enjoy squash in a safe and enjoyable
environment whilst helping them to reach
their full potential.
It is important for any club looking
to be successful over a sustained period
of time to attract the next generation
of players and this is an area Trojans
appears to have covered. It will certainly
be exciting to see how their youngsters
progress over the coming years.
The club’s efforts to provide as many
people as possible with a chance to play
squash are further demonstrated by the
fact that they run 6 men’s, 4 veteran, one
ladies and two junior sides that compete
in their county leagues. There is also
coaching available from an England
Squash and Racketball qualified coach by
arrangement.
The number of people taking part
in Squash through Trojans helps to
demonstrate what an important role they
are playing in their local community.
Having so many sides in place will also
help their 1st team to benefit from far
greater strength in depth. If they are
ever left short on numbers they have the
option of calling players up with a limited
amount of disruption.
There is much to admire about the
fine set up that Trojans Squash Club has
in place and the longevity that they have
achieved is impressive. Hopefully they
will be able to keep up the good work for
