As mentioned, Wiseman’s Bridge Rowing Club also has
a thriving social section and anyone participating will usually
meet at Wisemans Bridge Inn which is situated next to the launch
site. This allows them to discuss the day’s activities over a wellearned pint. All members are encouraged to take part in the
social side of the club as it is an important part of their identity.
There is much to admire about the fine set up that Wiseman’s
Bridge Rowing Club currently has in place and this is thanks to
all of the hard work that has gone into making them a success.
Hopefully they will be able to continue in the same manner for

iseman’s Bridge Rowing Club was
first established in 1993 and has made
tremendous progress since then, putting
together a history of which they have every
right to be proud. They are led by Chairman Phil Griffiths
who has put a tremendous amount of effort into helping them
prosper.
At present, they are a fast growing and friendly club that
places emphasis on providing people with an opportunity for
enjoyment and socialising in a safe and enjoyable environment.
They also make sure that they are able to offer competitive racing
for those that are keen to have a challenge.
The club meets on Tuesdays
