Ahead of next season we’re looking to grow the squad and make sure that we have the infrastructure in place to help transition our swimmers into the top group. We’re splitting our set up into three groups with national swimmers, a regional squad and then a county squad. “We’ve brought in a strength and conditioning programme this year 32 Issue 09 as well to help the swimmers. That helps particularly in regard to being explosive off the blocks and the impact that this introduction has had is already paying dividends. “It’s an exciting time at the moment with a lot of development going on at the club.
