stoke potters speedway FOLLOW US ONLINE TWITTER.COM/SPORT_IP This season they have put together a steady if unspectacular season having compiled a record of five wins, one draw and eight defeats from their fourteen matches. This has left them sitting in the bottom half of the table with sixteen points on the board. They will now be looking to put together a good run of results in order to finish as high up the table as possible. They still have an outside chance of making the knock out stages of the competition and this would represent a superb achievement for the team, providing them with a great platform to build for the future. They recently took an important victory away to Mildenhall, emerging victorious in a closely fought encounter 46-44. This keeps alive their top four hopes putting them within 2 points of Coventry Storm as the season draws to a close. 30 Issue 09 Speaking to www. stokepotters.co, Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey commented, “I’m delighted with what was an excellent win for us this afternoon, everyone in the team contributed points towards our victory today and that is something I’d called for prior to the meeting. Everyone rode their hearts out and I couldn’t really ask anything more from the team as Mildenhall are very good around their home track and don’t get beaten easily around here.” There is much to admire about the superb set up that Stoke Potters Speedway currently has in place and this should enable them to look forward to a bright and successful future. Everyone at Sport in Profile Magazine would like to take this opportunity to wish them the best of luck for the rest of the campaign.
