“One of the highlights of the year is the Dinner
Presentation that we have in February at The
Britannia Hotel and that is always well attended.
This year we had around 268 people there and
we always look to have a guest speaker which is
generally well received. It’s a very good night and
one to look forward to.
“The best thing for me is when everything goes
well at the events. The team here all pull together;
there’s no griping and that means that there’s a
very positive atmosphere. We’re always happy
to welcome new members; you don’t have to be
a driver; there are lots of roles here and we’ll be
pleased to have you along.
“I think the key to our success has been the
enthusiasm of everybody involved. We rent
our current clubhouse and have built a good
relationship here as well. Everyone loves what we
do and hopefully we will be able to continue in the
same manner for many years to come.”
