ewcastle Racecourse is located within the stunning estate of High Gosforth Park, just 5 miles from the City Centre
of Newcastle Upon Tyne and is one of the most popular dual tracks in the UK with 29 fixtures set up for 2015.
It is a Grade 1 dual code track and is a
left-handed, oval shaped course of one
mile six furlongs in circumference. There
is also a straight course which allows for
races of up to one mile to be run on the
flat. It is a galloping course in character
with a steady climb from the turn into
the straight ensuring that it is a testing
one to compete on. It is vital for horses
looking to be successful to be able to see
the distance out.
It promises to be a terrific summer of
racing with the Betfred Northumberland
Plate 3 Day Festival calendar in June,
the Collingwood Insurance Beeswing
Ladies Day in July and The StanJames.
