thame bowls club FOLLOW US ONLINE TWITTER.COM/SPORTINPROFILE Bowls has moved on from being a sport that is solely for the old and is now considered to be, “a young person’s game that old people can play.” Certainly people of all ages now play and enjoy the game and Thame hold a number of competitions for their members to compete in and test their skills. The club has some excellent facilities with a playing surface that is arguably the finest in Oxfordshire, backed up by a fantastic clubhouse with a good sized kitchen and a superb L-shaped bar. For those interested in coming along to experience what Thame Bowls Club has to offer first hand they have a very liberal dress 76 Issue 05 code; the ladies wear a blue cardigan over white, with grey or white skirts or trousers and the men wear club coloured shirts with grey or white trousers for matches and competitions. There is much to admire about the superb work that Thame Bowls club has been doing lately and hopefully they will be able to continue in the same manner for many years to come. Everyone at Sport in Profile Magazine would like to wish them the best of luck for the future.
