hame Bowls Club was first established in 1924 and has put together a history of which they have every right to be
proud since then. They are based at Chilton Grove on Queens Road in Oxon and the club is currently led by the
team of President Les Canfield and Chairman Bill Giles OBE and have made a considerable amount of progress
under their guidance.
The club has achieved tremendous
longevity over the years and
were able to celebrate their 90th
anniversary in 2015. In recognition
of this bowlers from all over the UK
came as ‘Friends of English Bowling’
to play a 6 Rink Mixed Match at the
Queens Road Bowling Green.
