CALDWELL Golf club Caldwell GOLF CLUB F First established in 1903, Caldwell is a 6355 yard, Par 72, Parkland Course situated on the outskirts of Uplawmoor which is 15 miles South-West of Glasgow. The course was originally laid out by former Open Champion Willie Fernie before being improved by the legendary James Braid. The course is packed with character, making it a pleasure to play on whether you are a serious competition golfer, or play golf purely for enjoyment. Thanks to this and the continued investment put into the course it regularly receives favourable comments for those that come to play at Caldwell. T h i s investment has also ensured that the course has e xcellent drainage, meaning that it is only closed in the most extreme weather conditions. The club also prides themselves on providing visitors with a warm welcome and their clubhouse giving people a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a drink after a round. The fully stocked bar is open from 11.00am onwards and helps to ensure that all visitors attending the club have the best experience possible. Caldwell Golf Club provides for the whole family with the A.P. Scott Lounge having a pool table and large screen TV and the family lounge is also great for children. The slightly more formal main lounge can cater for up to 80 people which can be extended to 120 with the use of the family lounge.
