ased at Trenance Park, Newquay in Cornwall, Heron Tennis Club is a great example of a community establishment
which provides as many people as possible from the local area with an opportunity to play the game in a safe and
enjoyable environment.
The club does everything it can to encourage people to get
involved and you don’t have to be a member to take part
in coaching sessions or activities. Some of the sessions they
provide include coaching sessions, social tennis, cardio tennis
fitness classes, coaching for players with disabilities and
Wheelchair Tennis.
They achieved tremendous success in 2014 as their Men’s A
team clinched the Cornwall Premier League title for the 3rd
