NETBALL CLUB
Hucclecote were one of the first
clubs in Gloucestershire, over
20 years ago, to recognise that
youth development was essential
to ensure the future success and
development of the club. This
planning has done exactly that,
with many of our early juniors,
now playing at senior level or
coaching throughout the club. In
some instances their children have
followed in their footsteps and are
now part of our junior section!
We start at Primary age, with our
youngest section, aged 8 years
to 10 where the emphasis is on
fun and basic skills. We then run
age group teams at all levels from
U11 through to U16 who play in
the local league and at U14 and
U16 in the Regional League. We
regularly win through to National
Finals at both those age groups,
where we try to maintain a top 10
placing in the country.
