Involvement
He told us, “I played my first game for The Bees
in October 1988, having just moved back to the
area from London to work at the Bradford and
Bingley Building Society. What first attracted
me? Her legs!
I am the Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, and
Press Officer so nothing too challenging...
In terms of rewarding aspects - after I finished
playing in 2003 I felt a need to be involved still,
rather than just being a spectator or facing the
dreaded afternoon's shopping. So the reward
is just feeling properly involved in the club, not
detached.”

I would say everyone
feels the glass is
half full and we are
gradually building
something here at
Wagon Lane.
