Cheshire Phoenix is a professional basketball club that was established from the ashes of
the Cheshire Jets. They currently compete in the British Basketball League and play their
home games at the Northgate Arena.
The team has made a solid start to
their current league campaign, having
compiled a record of 6 wins and 5
defeats from their 11 matches. This
has left them sitting near the top of the
table with 12 points on the board.
This should give them a solid platform
from which to build as they look ahead
towards the rest of the season. They
will be looking to put together a good
run of form to secure their position
in the play-offs and should be in for
a successful campaign once their
players gel together.
The team is also entered in the BBL
Trophy and are currently awaiting the
draw for the competition. They enjoyed
a good run of form in this competition
last year, making it all the way to the
semi-finals and there is a confidence
among the players that they have
the ability to do even better this time
around.
This competition probably represents
their best chance of silverware this
