HEATH GAA
HEATH GAA
First established in 1888, The Heath GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association Gaelic football
club that is based in County Laois in Ireland. They were originally known as St.Patrick’s
and played in the colours of scarlet and grey although they have now changed to black and
amber.
Since being set-up they have put
together a history of which they
have every right to be proud.
In total they have managed to
win 10 Laois Senior Football
Championship titles with the last
of these coming in 1993 when they
defeated Ballyroan in a replay to
claim the trophy.
They have also produced some
high quality players such as Shane
Hennessy, David O’Hara, Michael
Clancy and Michael Lambe who all
managed to play in an All-Ireland
Minor Football Championship
Final.
