MJW Kawasaki was a newly formed team ahead for 2013 and they wasted no time
establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with as they managed to win the Maxis
British Championship in their first year. They also run a youth team which has the aim of
developing young British motocross talent.
Speaking to their official website after
the competition Preston Williams said,
“I was pretty pleased with my results, I
scored my first points of the series and
I was fourth in my class which I’m pretty
pleased with. I know what I have to work
on for the forthcoming rounds.”
In the GT Cup, Woods claimed 8th
position overall whilst Dan Shepherd
competed in the Big Wheeled 85 class
and came in in 11th overall. There were
some difficult racing conditions at the MX
Pro Nationals at Pontrilas thanks to some
poor weather conditions. On his return

Towards the end of August the team
received a significant boost as both
Preston Williams and Lewis Woods were
able to return from injury ahead of the GT
Cup at Hilton Moto Park and also the MX
Nationals at Pontrilas.
